Here’s Your Monday Five…
Made Challah With Friends
As soon as I got back to NYC, I headed to my friend’s house to make challah, play mahjong and just have a day of hanging. It was so fun. I made challah with my mom while back in Atlanta and after tasting two separate recipes, one with bread flour the other with all-purpose, I think I’m an all-purpose flour challah girlie. It’s more chewy and dense. This is the recipe I think I prefer →
Really Cute Leopard Shorts
My high school bestie was in town this weekend and we stopped into Adidas to browse a bit. We both bought the leopard track pants you’ve seen me share here. But then we saw the shorts version and we couldn’t try them on fast enough. They’re sold out everywhere it seems, but we ordered them at Hibbett Sports here. Also spotted these at H&M that are only $25. Can’t resist leopard, right?
Tried This Detox Shampoo
My scalp continues to be an issue and it’s because I’m not using this scalp product from Act + Acre regularly like I should be. I always notice a difference when I use it, but I just can’t seem to get into a true routine with it since it’s a pre-shower mask. Last week, I tried the Lolavie exfoliate and detox scalp shampoo. I really loved how my scalp and hair felt after using it. I plan to use this weekly to help with my scalp irritation.
Loved This Podcast Episode With Fern Mallis
While my friend was in town, we swapped favorite podcasts and TV shows we’re catching up on these days. And she told me about the Molly Sims podcast, Lipstick On The Rim. They did an episode with Fern Mallis, the creator of NYFW. It was so interesting to hear her career trajectory and also how NYFW came about. I wish I attended NYFW when it was still in Bryant Park, but it has totally changed and just isn’t the same. Need to listen to more of their episodes. Listen here →
A Favorite Dress Is Now Available In My Favorite Print
The Raquel dress at Sezane is a classic shirtdress that really is just perfectly designed. It’s comfortable, flattering, and easy to dress up or down. I have the ecru denim from a few years ago as seen in this blog post. It now comes in a leopard that looks PERFECT. I just adore the print, and it’s in a completely classic shape. I think this will be a closet staple. Shop it here →

Make each day, an indigo day…
Reminder to make each day, an indigo day. Little things you can do to feel more put-together. This week I’m going to make a big batch of chicken enchiladas and freeze them so I have individual dinners ready to go. Makes eating a delicious, homemade dinner in a pinch, a breeze.
Hope you make each day, an indigo day.
