What To Do In Serenbe - The Perfect Weekend Getaway

Back in November, I headed to Atlanta to spend the weekend with friends to celebrate a 40th birthday. We had been debating going somewhere warm and tropical to celebrate my friend, but opted for something a bit more easy. A drivable destination from Atlanta, Serenbe.

Serenbe is about 45 minutes south of Atlanta and is truly in the middle of nowhere. But as soon as you drive down the main street, you feel like you’ve been transported to a Hollywood set of charming homes, storefronts and golf carts whizzing by.

The Inn at Serenbe is a quaint little hotel that has a restaurant and lounge with some outdoor seating. It’s surrounded by cute farm animals, horses, and more. The space is small though, so if you have a large group, you can book rooms through The Inn who manage the properties throughout the city.

We stayed in two side by side townhomes which was perfect for our 10 person group. The partiers in one house, the early risers in the other (that’s me). They also get the same services as a hotel room with daily housekeeping, fresh baked cookies and breakfast included at The Inn.

Blue Eyed Daisy is a cute little coffee shop, bakery and also serves breakfast and lunch. It’s a fast casual place where you order at the counter, and they bring it to you. We loved the Italian pesto panini, it was so so good. Portions are also quite large, we shared a lot of things.
