Hey Indigoer!

This is a paid newsletter, but the first two texts from the trenches will always be free.
Self Heating Eye Compress
When I was having my ocular migraines frequently, I Googled how to relieve them more quickly and applying a warm compress was one of them. This sounds way nicer than using a warm wet washcloth that you have to keep rinsing with water to get warm again. They’re self-heating which is so neat. This is great for those of you who may suffer from dry eyes or migraines. Shop them here →
PS I love a voice note, but I love a FaceTime even more. Reminder to FaceTime your friends more.
The Libby Hack
I admittedly needed a Libby tutorial when I signed up for it years ago. I did not understand how it worked, or how it got on my Kindle. I was SO confused. And I was REALLY pissed that first time when I realized I couldn’t finish a book fast enough and it got returned without me being able to “renew” it like a traditional book. I am just not a frequent reader so getting through a book in 3 weeks only happens if I’m super obsessed.
The secret is to put your Kindle on airplane mode to keep your book as long as you need it. It returns it back digitally so it goes to the next person, but you get to keep it on your Kindle until you turn the wi-fi back on. You won’t get it on your phone though, but that’s fine with me.
My Kindle is one of my most favorite purchases ever. I’ve also convinced many friends to get one and it’s turned them into avid readers. Are you reading anything good?
